So I have just returned from a medium [20 miles] length ride. On my way back home I stopped by the McD's from yesterday. My friend Dave is one of the primary managers there. I shared with him my feelings on yesterdays events. Why do I feel this slight tinge of guilt? Oh well, I will just have to get over it and know that I have done the right thing. Speaking of which.

Last Thursday at one of the local bars that I hang out / work at I found a wallet while in the restroom. I checked the I.D. and noticed a fair amount of cash and a plethera of credit/debit cards. So rather that just hand it over to the guy in charge that night, who I am not sure is 100% honest, I looked around for the girl for about thirty minutes or so. Couldn't find her, so I gave the wallet to this person in question. I wish there was some other way I could have handled that one. I know that asshole took the money. I asked him Sunday if the girl, I called her by her name, came back for her wallet. He responded with this contrived "what wallet?" bullshit. He knew exactly what wallet, "the only one I gave you, asshole" is what I wanted to say. Anyway, what can you do?

Its not hard to do the right thing. Its hard to know the right thing. Knowing the right thing and not doing it is ultimately the most difficult.
