man I was half expecting at least a little bit of anti-american sneering, but NONE. the Omani people speak great English, are ultra hospitable, and the food is amazing! THe coffee in particular, is quite rich. WE're performing a festival doing an all glow-show, following an amazing Chinese acrobat act, kinda raising the bar for us to produce something. Lucky for me, they keep the juggling to a minimum. Just wanted to let any of you guys who were a bit worried , know all 4 of us (Marcy, Samite, & Flow, too) are well, and anticipate no problems. We're bringin a crew to the Middle East, Oman for a festival through the Month of January. wow. All the festivals that generate leads over the world, with 9of 10 fallign through for some dumb reasons like Visas, travel snafus, whatever... and THIS one pulls through. Oman used to be the Port of entry between India and africa, a crazy port city back in the day. Wish I knew more about it, but I;ve got about 3 weeks to figure it out. Talkign out loud isn;t helping any. hm...

Im in Washington Dc this weekend. performing for Gallaudet University. The worlds largest university of the deaf. I am learning more to gesture wildly. I hate major league Baseball commentary. Why do you need coffee in the morning when you've just been sleeping for a bunch of hours? Never make fun of someone's car...especially when they're RIGHT behind you...in their car. I took the LSDs in high school~passed them with flying colors. I fake yawn to see if the placebo effect works.

WILD BURN, no? Thoughts of this weekend at Deerfields for Transformus. This weekend at the Regional Burningman event (TRANSFORMUS) Was F'ing wild. I am so thankful for all the creative people and their energies that went into building the Gypsy Camp, Shishaden dome, (and taking it down), All the killer trampoliners that risked their safety for some mighty nasty moves on our "loose" tramp, all the super tetherball players, and expecially JasperJames for the Sound System, the DJs Jason, MIT & Y0-El who kicked wide open beats through the night to keep the neighbors (and Diesel haha) awake for longer than they may have wanted. Vespa for throwing flame,Cameron for shuttling the pedestians to Gypsy Camp, Cape Fear People who shipped stuff, Don NC Guy, Homeless Dave, and Justin... And the organizers of the entire event for kicking in the extra gusto to make this happen. And the illustrious Chicken Japan for artistic design.And Riz for getting an entire festival drunk. Erik, Diesel, Ms Maya, CHw, Kath Ellis, the midnight wandering fire clan, and the seldom-seen invisibility shroud. Nxxt year, Gypsy Camp. Start thinking about it. Proof that the Cape Fear Burn Scene evolves, I hope to see all of you at the Juggling Gypsy Cafe in Wilmington, setting fires and in costume often. Bash
