Last night I was on my couch in the dark just pondering at 2 AM. My Patron, Brigidh, came to me. We had a little one to one chat.
She said to me yes you HAD a terrible, lonesome and troubled life. That is true. Things are changing now. Things will be different. You may not get everying you wish for but a lot of it will come true.
Cross, you must open yourself up and let people in. Good things are happening around you. Just look around.
My problem was that I had been hit over the head so many times that I did not know what a blessing or a good thing was anymore. It is time for me to wake up. It will not be a short journey but a long road ahead.
She even told me of a Blessing I always had. I never noticed it as a blessing and took it for granite. Now that I look back it IS truely a blessing. A blessing that I have been missing all of these years.
I will not say what the Blessing is... but I will tell you this... it is wonderful!!!

This amazing soul has a gift, of insight, and though he is quite unassuming of his gift he has a sweet ability to offer his gift in the moment it is needed....

I have two seats open in my Ranger named Thor. The fourth seat will be for baggage. Unless if someone really really really need a ride and willing to travel ultra-super light. I can take one passenger with little stuff. I DO HAVE A BIKE RACK THAT CAN HOLD UP TO 4 BIKES!!! Please let me know the size and kind of bike.
I will be offering a ride from the East BAy and the stated above areas to Soulstance. I have a Ford Ranger with a passenger and a jump seats open. The passenger seat will be reserved for a large person. The jump seats are facing each other and cramped. If a large person does not take up my offer then we can rotate seats on the way up to Soulstance.
My Ranger, Thor, is in excellent shape but THERE IS NO AC, open rear window, cup holder in front and back, XM radio and CD Player that can read MP3s. I have a bike rack (with lock) that can hold up to 4 bikes. The bed of my Ranger has a tonnou so your stuff will be locked for all road stops.

Ride Share to Yosemite: Jan 10th

I am going to do a day trip to Yosemite on January 10th around 5 am. We will return on January 11th around 1or 2 AM. I have two seats open. One passenger seat and one jump seat. Passengers will rotate seats. I will pay for the park pass (I want to be a personal yearly NPS Pass). We will share gas.
About Thor:
Thor is a 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4. I have All Terrain Severe Weather Tires. I also have heavy duty tire chains for all tires. I carry 10 gals of emergency gas, tow chain, camping stove. Thor had fowl weather lights. The bed of Thor has a cover so you can lock your XC Skis or snowshoes in.
If you are bringing XC Skis please let me know. I need to make some room. I have a bike rack if you are a ice bike rider.
There is no itinerary. Just happy go lucky in the valley. There are large area to have some snow fun. XC and snowshoes areas. Site seeing. Slops for sliding. Good food.

Wanna Go To Yosemite in the Snow???
( community » other ) I am thinking of going to Yosemite after the New Year. I am looking for riders to go with me. I can comfortable take two other people with me.
Trip Details:
We would probably leave the Bay Area around 5 AM Saturday. Drive straight to Yosemite with road stops. Leave Yosemite around 6 to 7 PM. Be home around 1 am Sunday. We will share gas. I will get the park fees for I want to renew my NPS Pass.
I have experience driving to Yosemite in the Winter time. I have a 4x4 and snow chains. I also bring along camp stove, and extra gas just in case. My truck had a jump seat in the back. So the passengers will rotate. I could hold a third passenger but I feel the trip will be too long for an additional rider in back. Especially going on the mountainous curves.
If you are interested Please let me know!

Volunteer for for Ice Duty and you could work in a nice ice filled refrigerated truck!!! Thats Right!!! A nice cold refrigerated truck in the hot dry desert heat.
Burning Man is looking for volunteers to help out at Ice Cubed (Ice-3) and Ice-9. We are looking for people for the following positions:
Cashiers: Handle the registers
Slingers: Brings the ice from the truck to the costumers.
Pushers: Brings the ice forward in the truck to the slingers.
We have the following times open:
9 AM to Noon
Noon to 3 PM
3 PM to 6 PM
This is a great way to get involved in Burning Man. Plus, you get to met many many many Burners too!!!

I really really really really really need your help. As you may know I my kidneys have failed and I have had three operations to date. I can not longer lift and I now have limited mobility in my left arm. I need your help.
I need at least two people to help me load my furniture in Petaluma and unload it in storage in Alameda. I plan to load the furniture in Petaluma around 10:00 AM and unload the furniture in Alameda around 2:00 PM. I will provide breakfast or lunch. If you can help me out at one or both ends please let me know.

Squandering Money

What a great trip!!! One rider cam with me. Her name is Tootles. This is her second time at Yosemite. The last time she went was when she was in her late teens. It been two years now for myself. I am glad we went. Seems we both needed to get out into nature.

Hey folks... I am going to Reno to buy some kick ass de-icer. I will be needed it for my PDX trip. I will be leaving Oakland early in the morning and returning sometime at night. Tribe is down more then up. Still no T-Shirt. More trolls and sock puppets then actually posters. 250 (or more) out of 281 people on my profile are not even on Tribe anymore. A week before gates open Brigit asked me if there was anything she can fairy to the Playa. I told her I had some shoe I would like to take there. If I cannot stand on the Playa then my shoes will stand in my place. So she took my old shoes to the Temple.
