In the nest
Saying goodbye, but only for a moment
Sun, May 18, 2008 - 9:08 PMWithin Tribal Fusion Bellydance, I've had some of the most rewarding, spiritually moving experiences. When I first came to New York, I didn't know anyone and it was a struggle for me to find my way. I've found a beautiful way with each and everyone of you girls and everyday I thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your teacher.
For a few months now I've been internally battling with some decisions I need to make regarding teaching classes and working on some other responsibilities in my life. It breaks my heart to have to say good-bye for a little while, but right now I have to put teaching on hold. I'm planning to resume in full effect after February of 2009. I know you all understand, but know when I say this is one of the hardest decisions I've had to make in a long time. I am still be available for private lessons weather they be individual or small group and workshops.
Again, I thank you for the open-arms and the love. You have all been the light of my life.
With Compassion and Faith I Thank You for being a part of my dreams,
Vorona

It is hard to stop doing something you love to do because life decides to take a different path.
I had to take a brake from belly dancing for awhile when I had to take care of some shit I had going on in my life. I sadly didn't say anything to my friends and they felt like I fell off the face of the earth. When I came back ,they where happy to see my face. I feel that many people understand also many of us can relate. Best of luck shy |

Take your time lady, give yourself what you need. You can bet I'll be waiting when you offer workshops again, though!

With all you've got going on, that time will pass quickly. It's ok to take a break, and a total pro move to step back when you need to. When you come back to it you'll be recharged, and probably even more excited about that you were before.

I'm reading through your comments and feel like the luckiest woman alive! Ya know, when I told my students, they cried and we group hugged and I was so overjoyed to know that I was filled with so much love from others that understand. Thank you buddy's for your support!

You aren't stepping out of dance, are ya? I still want to get together and play! See what cool shit we can come up with sista!!!
I have taken a couple of breaks from teaching. It could actually be a good thing. It helps to refresh you and reinvigorate you! Feb 09 will be here in no time. You know, give me a call. I may have an idea that would work a bit better into your schedule and it would mean that you wouldn't have to give up teaching completely. hmmmm......call me |
