My New Favorite Thing

I have been keeping a new site ... It's called My New Favorite Thing. I've subtitled it, "Half gratitude journal. Half discovery blog. No complaints." I'm trying to post to it several times per day. It's a fun format to find a voice with, and I'm really enjoying it. I have posted from my phone. There are videos, my own photos, food, quotes, and all stuff that makes me smile a lot. Earlier this year, an artist asked if she could include a photo of mine in a book she was editing. It's a book of self-portraits of people crying. If you know me at all, you have seen me cry. I also take pictures with my camera. A few times, I have done both at the same time. The picture in the book was one of those times. The book is called I'm Too Sad to Tell You. My friend Nicole is going out of the country for a few months and is subletting her apartment. It's a great deal, really close to the F subway. Here's her message.
