I tried to calibrate my Nike+, and now it's less accurate than before. I ran a mile yesterday at 9 min/mile at the fastest, and 15 min/mile at the slowest, and it's saying I did .6 mile in 40 minutes!



Ugh. I hope not, because the 5k is tomorrow!

Okay, so, looking at the calendar here, I have twelve days before the holidays. Twelve days to accomplish:

• A big, big push at work so I can mostly enjoy the holiday
• My 5k run (by Sunday)
• Ordering and sending ahead the Christmas presents for Oklahoma (by the 8th)
• Packaging and shipping other Christmas presents (by the 13th)
• Sending Christmas cards (ASAP)
• Write and send a letter to Kevin (ASAP)
• Finding someone willing to check in on the kitty whilst I'm gone (anyone?)
• Finding a ride to the airport for my family on the night of the 18th (or taxi it)
• Paying my bills: doctors, dentist, Banana Republic
• Setting up an appointment to have my wisdom teeth pulled
• Calling the Leavenworth hotel and booking for January's trip
• Do laundry and pack for Oklahoma
• Take mom clothes shopping
• Setup appointment for my first meeting w/ my personal trainer at the gym
  
  
• Exercise, exercise, and exercise
  
  
• Getting gift for the ABD gift exchange
• Getting DVD for Action Movie Night
• Get my hair done?

Oye.



But, the good news is... I get to see my grandparents in twelve days! I haven't seen them since 2004, and I really miss spending time with them.



My nuclear family has never been on a flight together, and it's juvenile but I'm really looking forward to it.
