Well, it has been weeks since my surgery. Two to be exact if I am keeping track of the days correctly. As usual, my 15 minute surgery took hours, and 15 torn ligaments and tendons later, plus the bonus . . . A TUMOR!!! (if I only had such luck with gambling!!!) I am good as new, allegedly LOL!

It is hard to believe that 11 years ago this eve, I produced my little pink bundle of joy . . . (well that is if you can call 10lbs 5 oz little). When my crowd of friends (mostly guys I played Dungeons and Dragons with in High School, I played an Amazon of course!) found out, the calls were very congratulatory (Wow, you producing your own Amazon tribe??? WTF did I axe murder in my past life . . . I mean seriously. . .
Things are going good, I passed my fitness test for my job, people are finally coming to see my house that is for sale, I got a dance performancing coming up, as well as my spot reserved to see Rachel Brice and participate in her workshop. . . I am exercising daily and still losing weight . . . eating right . . . kicking bad guys @$$ at work . . . bellydancing almost daily . . .

Well, my daughter and I went to our first Tribal bellydance class together.
It was fun and quite the work out. I got to see more of my friends at the class than I expected, which was a very nice suprise.
The arm movements are very different from the caberet style I have used for the past 25 years (OMG!!! I have been dancing that long???) Hopefully, this old dog can learn some new tricks! LOL!

Cynarra is one of the most positive, vibrant, strong women I know. Whenever I'm around her, I feel energized and supported. She has a great sense of humor and can do almost any accent there is (which I'm highly envious of!) She's always making me laugh, even when I feel at my lowest. She's always been there for me when I've needed her.
She's also a wonderful, loving, patient, "hands on" kind of Mom and Edonna and Max are great kids.
Despite her neverending need to have everything "match" her sense of style is amazing. :)
I am truly blessed and very grateful that she came into my life.
