Farewell easy rider

Nooooooo! No, don't fall!

And then you fell backwards across the marble stairs. I was so concerned that the overstuffed bag of blankets and towells not spill onto the sidewalk that it took me a minute to realize the damage. And then, well, then I had to try to pry you open to remove my other bag of laundry. Easy rider, you were the coolest cart on the block. You were shiny silver chrome where other people had lame colored carts. You had a high handle so that I could stand upright. Yes, I cursed your non-steerable wheels, but I never thought.... I never thought you would die such a bent and broken death. You served me well. Farewell, lover.

Dirty love and dirty laundry,
Miss Cynthia

I am sorry to hear about your loss darlin, I knew Easy and he was a good cart. He could be a little hard to handle sometimes but aren't we all. He will be missed...my heart goes out to you.

I never met easy rider
but I am truly sorry for your loss. Hopefully with time, and a new cart, you will be able to pick up the pieces and move on to happy laundry days once again.

What is totally strange...
... is that I took a picture of my bags of laundry piled on the cart just before I started to do my laundry yesterday. It was so loaded down. It was going to be my reminder to myself that getting a washing machine was one of my goals. I never thought I would kill my cart less than six hours later. Crazy!

It always seems to work that way. Or never. Glad you got a picture.
