about me
Entered government service in 1971 when grandfather and veteran submariner swore me in at age 17. Served three tours at sea before going to shore duty. Learned project management during shipyard work on USS Barb and USS Grayback. Went on to become Project Manager of USS Brunswick overhaul at Dillingham Shipyard, in Hawaii in early 80's. Used VisiSchedule on an Apple to print Gantt charts, avoiding the expense of computer time on traditional systems.
Subsequently managed sofware development projects on Wang, IBM Mainframe, UNIX, PC, and Windows NT through 2003 systems. Now head up technical training for a small government contract. During time off I enjoy riding my BMW motorcycle, playing guitar, and camping. I recently qualified as a motorcycle safety instructor.
