I was biking today and had a brilliant idea. My idea was to combine twitter and wikipedia into a website that would be called twitteropedia. It would be a super-abridged version of wikipedia where the entries couldn't be longer than 140 characters. I mean, who needs to read some 8,000 word entry on wikipedia about Rush Limbaugh when all you really need to say is "fat asshole", right? I mean, what concept or idea or person can't be summed up in 140 characters?

Art. It's a good thing. Walking. It's good too. Spending time with friends (or pretend internet friends), would also qualify as good. And then there's alcohol, which is mostly a good thing, as far as I am concerned.
I propose to combine all of these goods, and thus to seek maximum good-ness, tomorrow evening at First Friday. My motive is that I want to see the Cheryl Lyon show at Sub Zero, which run from 5 - 7, but other than I am open to whatever. The picture above is a Cheryl Lyon print. You are invited. I'd propose to meet at Sub Zero at around 6. Sub Zero is on F, between 6th and 7th, right around the corner from Humpy's. My cell is 229-0049 for anyone who wants to hook up either earlier or later. I'm open to meeting people as early as 5.

Taxi to the Dark Side won the 2008 Academy Award for Best Documentary: From IMBD.com: "An in-depth look at the torture practices of the United States in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, focusing on an innocent taxi driver in Afghanistan who was tortured and killed in 2002." Apparently it's pretty graphic.

Come over to watch the Presidential Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Obama vs. McCain (and what's-her-name). The end of the Bush era. The biggest night of the year, and one that will change the course of our country. Persons of all political stripes are welcome, polite behavior is NOT required. Yelling and gratuitous insults are encouraged. We'll have snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring whatever.
I'm not sure what time meaningful poll results will start coming in, but we'll have the TV on, so come over whenever you want to and stay as late as you like. And feel free to invite other Tribers who aren't on my Friends list.
