about me
Well just thought I'd show my face in here, but not really new. Been a little skate punk, ave rat, death rocker, batcaver, waver, whatever on the streets of Seatown since 1983 (back when we had to make our capes and no stores existed like in stupid malls now, to buy them at ;) ). A little club history : Metropolis (Seattle's first P-rock club), Skoochies (where i got my first dj gig cause some other dj had a little nose problem),RCKCNDY (when it was a speak easy years befor it was a bar), The Monastary (we use to call it the Monascary, but it was the best damn club this side of studio 54 to exist, and in a church.), Garilla Garden or was it Garilla room (mmm what were the brain cells doing at this time?) OMNI, where I teamed with scruff to start a duel dj show), The Underground (which sucked after donald left) the OZ where Scruff and I also brought Ministry (Al brought us a $500 dollor ticket for smoking on the plane and we almost had to cancel the show), Xymox, Book of Love, and even LOL Flock of Seaguls to play; Played the Catwalk oposite Drew, The Colourbox, played Machine works Sundays, and gladly covered for JQ for silly holidays like turkeyday, have guest DJ'd with William & Peter at the Vogue long ago too. So yes old old old i am, but for 4.2 hours of the day I am young at heart. I no longer reside or work for Aurafice, where I also DJ'd for Convergence at the cafe and other special events. The DJ gig is only fun when ya not told what to do... then it becomes a Job and I just dont want to do it anymore as a job, jobs suck. I am finished with SCCC and on my way to UW.Some of ya I know already, some even for a decade, and some of you are very new so I'd just like to say hey. Wish we had this back in 1985 when dealing with hicks from Enumscratch in this area was about the only thing that got us together cause we were pushed into the missunderstood corner. lmao. What am i thinking? we had trs-80's to use for computers. Well hopefuly this place will help take away the rest of my bitterness and put a smile back on my face, but not so happy that I would suddenly want to listen to bad music by turning on a radio in the town. Cheers St' Christopher
