Why Alternative Rock signals the end of civilization, as we know it.

1. Not black enough. Rock music is white kids trying to sound black. Alternative Rock is white kids trying to sound white. They're ALREADY white, how much whiter can they get?
2. Not enough songs about fast cars or girls with long blonde hair. ...

I believe there is a Buddist saying that goes something like, "The Road to Wisdom leads through the palace of decadence". After a sexually repressive childhoold, I found myself as a young man, just another horny geek boy, overwhelmed by the presense of women. My sexual goal became to have enough experiences so that sex would take a reasonable place in my cosmology and women seem like fellow humans rather than magical goddesses with the power do disembowel me with a glance.
At a round the ...

2. Not enough songs about fast cars or girls with long blonde hair. For that matter, not enough girls with long blonde hair, period.
3. Insufficient use of nonsense syllables. Who's going to teach our children the significance of Bop shoo wop, rama lama ding dong, doo wah diddy, etc.?
4. No "honking" sax solos....

Robert is funny, wise, witty and amazingly refreshing to be around. Given his history, I would think he’d be jaded beyond recognition but he’s not. He’s one of those people that I turn to when I’m perched up on the roof, ready to jump, because his way of thinking is so clear and on target.
He’s been one of my biggest fans and best support along by journey and I’m glad to have him in my life. His interests strike me funny because he’s simply fascinated (and not in a sleazy way, more like a childlike innocence, minus the drooling) with women and how they work and what they do. I love our conversations because, in addition to everything else, he is the King of the Analogy. Xoxo
