all that anticipation, all that hard work, all that praying for Stephanie's back to heal. The most exciting 5:06 minutes of my life! what a boost to have so many say such wonderful things! I simply cannot believe that we even spin in the same company as so many lovely ladies!

Gosh, Stephanie and I have been working so hard on our latest Poi Belly dance effort. We hope to show it to an audience one day. There is, of course, one set of combos that I just cant seem to keep my timing on. Grrr.

So, as you can see on my profile, I dance with a very good friend and dancer Stephanie - you know, the gal with the amazing hips. You have no idea how many steps I know only if her butt is in front of me...but I digress.

Taking a risk here, posting my feelings about the changing belly dance enviornment.

Up until the last year or so I was so inspired to dance and enjoy the company of women. However lately, the world I came to love so much has changed. I see the more modern fusion girls having a teriffic time, exploring new areas and just having fun. (The style itself isn't quite my cup of tea, but I love to watch it! and steal a few moves.)

Thank you goddes! for every small problem I have.

I look up and thank the sun and moon that I am healthy, that my kid is healthy, and that my husband is healthy. I watched this program earlier this week about kids with horrible ticks and syndromes that prevent them from enjoying so many many activites that I take for granted.

I am blessed to have the benefits that I do. I currently have the worlds greatest job, I get to spend time with my one and only son.
