I took their bus back to izmir (inspite of it being 1.5 hours out of the way ) after 2 hours of turkish folk songs in a loft over a wine store with clinking glasses, swaying, and a wonderful fire - everyone seated on flat floor pillow things - it was a movie set, I SWEAR (picture later) 
As a gift from the government of the US to the people of Turkey, I will leave on Friday for Mugla University, in Mugla, Turkey. I will teach teachers how to teach, and teach freshmen conversation/speech/communication and give workshops...and
