Yes, you heard it right! The National Enquirers Infamous Bat Boy, was spotted this Saturday Dec.8th, at the annual Charles Dickens Christmas Faire this past weekend. After multiple rumored sightings, we investigated for our selves. We asked A participant if he had seen any unusual or odd characters lurking around? His response was," Happy Christmas"! and then something about," we have so many odd characters around here, I wouldn't even know where to start"! Well, after an extensive search, numerous drinks,One sitting of the Pantomime show. a showing of Brass Farthing, and two showings of French Postcards, We had little to show for are hard work, But a really good time! *Hick!* and a head full of Booze.
When finally, while gawking at some can can dancers over at Mad Sal's, we finally got the break we'd been looking for. There he was! Huge bulbing eyes, razer sharp teeth, and large pointy ears, sticking up from under his hat. There he stood, in full costume, trying to blend in. I managed to get this shot of him just before he darted backstage. We then tried to pursue him, but were stopped by some weasel, that told us we didn't have proper passes. So he managed to escape once again. When we confronted the curator Mad Sal herself, about harboring freaks and fugitives, she had this to say, " Ave ya seen the lot of em? iss one ear, ain't even the worst of em. Why ee is a right gentlemen, and a big tipper, ee is". So the question remains. Is Bat Boy some sort of missing link? Is he some sort of horrible genetic mutation? Or perhaps some sort of Alien influence? We may never know. but one things for sure. You'll have a tough time telling this odd character, from the rest of the odd characters, that you will encounter, at the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair. But you will have a great time, I know we did. *Hick!*
