I "Afsana Rose" am a member of Shadia Dahlal's "Purple Roses of Cairo" Performing in Eastern Oklahoma. I have been studying belly dance for over three years. It has been a wonderful journey. I started dance class to meet people and make friends, to socialize and get out of the house. Also, to get a fun work out and play dress up. Performing is so much fun. Children are the best audience. They look up at you with such big eyes and imaginations.
