...So I have this theory that if David was smuggled into the White House somehow, George W. would emerge days later from the Oval Office in the early a.m., smoking 'rollies on the front porch and drinking Silver out of a paper bag while Dave is inside asking to borrow Laura's cell phone to call me so he can play a few bars from the song that was the result of the morning's "session"........Soon, the war would end, Homeland Security would be a thing of the past, and Texas wouldn't have such a bad reputation........

For the most part, DaVeed is a good kitty. He doesn't scratch the furniture and won't bring dead animals into the house. But he's not much of a lap cat and only lets you pet him for a little while until he gets distracted. He is one of those kitties that like to be constantly admired, and will quickly let you know if you're not paying enough attention to his feline antics.
Once, I drove out to the countryside to set him free, but a week later he was back, mewling on the back porch once again. April 25, 2005
