Right now I ache. I've been carrying sixty pound bags of concrete down four flights of stairs. So far I've carried about sixty. We'll need another forty to finish the job.

It could be worse. My knees could be going out worse.

I'll have to return to the salt mines shortly...

Today I removed another as well. It's all the temp foundation now.

And the jackhammer crapped out...

This foundation is looking like one of these jobs that won't end. I dug for a week or two, then we decided to jack it all up. Now the whole thing is resting on a temp foundation. The rotten old foundation is scary and a third demolished.

I barely want to dig right now. Maybe I'll nap.

Do I actually need the blog?

Foundations occupy my brain. Tomorrow we jack up the building. I might suddenly have way too much to do. This is a good thing, as that could be the rush before finishing this project. It's felt like I was digging forever. It might be good to not be digging for a while.

And then I consider starting a blog, at least here. I doubt if I actually have enough interesting things to say. We shall see.
