The bothersome thing here is that the folks at the top live in a bubble and don't know what the "working class" has to deal with on a day to day basis. It reminds me of Marie Antoinette's quote: Let them eat cake!

There are no jobs, folks are living in tent cities and food costs are very high.

The current actual inflation is about 12%

This $700 billion bailout is a band aid being put on a deep hemorrhaging flesh wound. Nothing more.
This will not fix things. A New Deal from the likes of FDR is what is needed. Not cash money to investment bankers.

2009 will be terrible. Absolutely terrible.

All of us will experience what folks lived through in the 1930's during the Great Depression.

I listened to some of the Republican convention speeches while driving home tonight.
These folks are a joke. I heard nothing of substance from these guys.
Guiliani is still crying about 9-11. Mitch Romney thinks Washington is run by liberals and Palin thinks she is some sort of "bad ass".

Man oh man, may the Gods have mercy on us if these folks get in the White House.......
