about me
I am a mother of two, and an artist. I paint, draw, and take photos. I am also a fiber artist. I knit, crochet and spin and dye my own fibers. I basically love any thing I can create. I spend most of my time making things, doodling my hours away on some project or other.
I love belly dancing and currently take lessons with Razia, Sabine and Jamara. I love makeing costume items, I find great pleasure in makeing pretty things, even if no one will ever see me dance in them. I love nature and my partner and I love hiking and camping. I really want to get a canoe so we can see even more back country. But first we need a good truck. Oh and I can't spell worth beans.

so my daughter started her first moon last thursday. and i would love to do something special for her. a ceremony, something. but as creative as i am...i suck at coming up with these kinda ideas. sigh. i need help. any ideas? anyone? i know you are all cool creative ladies with tons of killer ideas. so help me out.

again this paint just does not photograph well at all! and um please ignore the huge ass cob webs hangin out on her, sigh. dust then photograph. really i couldn't see it till i looked at the photos.

just for fun, here is a shitty photo pf tara. the paint is very shiny and does not photograph well. this image really does not do her justice, nor does it capture the aura you see when staring at her in person. but thought i'd share anyway.

heres a picture of my initial sketch. pardon the smudge marks. the paper i am using smudges even worse with pencil then normal paper. glides beautifully but smudges terribly sigh.
