I was in luck.... he played Samba Pa Ti for the encore ! ! ! Although I was very suprised by the thin turn out, it made for some excellent seats. Ottmar plays with such effortless ease... a true inspiration. All of the music was great and it was interesting to see him do some electric guitar work. A perfect night...

Ottmar is one of my favorite Spanish/Flamingo style guitarist's. I'm hoping he will play Samba Pa Ti as he has been for the encore at current concerts. Carlos Santana plays this song with Ottmar on one of his albums... a stellar rendition. He will be playing at the Aladdin Theatre on Thursday 7/17.

This was a fabulous concert... we were lucky enough to be in the second row.... for a sitar concert I was expecting something totally mellow yet this evening rocked... I would highly recommend seeing her if you get the chance.
