cutting off a name is just as important as getting one. hmm...i was going to get my name changed this morning. i have one more step and it's done: attend an uncontested docket. the judge looks your order over and decides if your reason is legit.

but for me, i want it to be more than that. a little more than a dusty old room in a courthouse. i'm gonna wait til my birthday. (next week friday) it will be a little more special. since i'm not working that day i'll wear my long red skirt and look pretty. go home and do the mountains of paperwork that go with the task...but know that i have given myself a new name on my 24th birthday. sometimes it's good to be patient. it's the cause of good times.
