Mikal is a friend of mine. He's very good at supporting my being a very pansexual, kinky, ethically slutty woman, whether I'm celibate or not. (Reading that, I grin and realize that sentence is actually funny!) He sends me really funny Internet emails. Not the same old lame Internet jokes that you see 50 times a year when people can't think of more original stuff to tickle your funny bone! We started out as lovers, but turns out, we're better off as occasional chat and email buddies. He's a much better person than he gives himself credit for. He's very intelligent and grounded. He's got a gentle side to him. I like him. He's arguably the only person with whom I feel safe to let out my "inner smartass" without being terrified of losing our friendship. He's not afraid about letting out his "inner smartass". He's not afraid to be himself. Thank God for un-PC guys like he and Ted Nugent. Thank God I don't have to agree with everything a friend or celebrity hottie says or does in order to like them or keep a friendship going.

Mikal M:
A fabulously entertaining author and artistic writer, as well as an excellent guide on any path one may need to find. High intelligence combined with unique perspectives makes Mikalm a very entertaining and enlightening companion.
I’m very honored to have met him, and consider him to be one of the most helpful entities I’ve yet been blessed to meet. I feel very privileged to call this one my friend.

Yell and skip in a very dry country.

To dance they go, and shake the sin
Out of their feet and hands,...

Last Saturday night, I went to the "Gallerie N!ne" opening at the 285 Ninth Street space in SF. The Gallerie is a spin-off project from the Anon Salon parties, which promised "a more intimate and socially creative side" of that scene. Anon lately has relocated to the Outer Mission's Whisper club, for reasons I can't really discuss here, and this seemed to be an attempt to use the Ninth Street complex for a more art-oriented social gathering.
That n...
