about me
I am a person fully invested in living, I enjoy meeting other people who are passionate about life...
I have traveled a road with many many cul de sacs, dead ends and "wrong turns" and gone down a few one way streets the opposite direction... but I regret very little in my life.. and that which I regret I have gleaned as much learning from as possible so as not to duplicate those regrets... I took a major turn in my life when my four wolf hybrids unexpectedly reproduced very enthusiastically... having 20 babies at one time.. and made the decision to keep 7 of the pups, this meant rearranging my life in many ways.. I have made a commitment to keep these pups safe and sound for the rest of their natural lives.. and our canine pack numbers 14 1/2 (we have a foster pup named Kona) we also have seven felines and one sugar glider... choosing this life meant giving up my picture perfect condo and moving to acreage south of Puyallup, WA. It also meant choosing between the life of one pup when he was injured and the down payment on my custom home. All I can say is I have happy health pups, but not a dream home at the moment. This has meant sometimes giving up travel and activities I would like to experience, pending "childcare"... if you think finding a babysitter is hard try finding a house-sitter who'll take the time to completely integrate into a pack this large.... but I can live knowing I didn't walk away from these pups and that they have a great life. Now that we have a puppy sitter, I am able to begin focusing on some of my desires and things I'd like to get out and do... sort of like when the kids finally go to school. My fiance and I are two years into our relationship and we share a home with a man I was married to. We've chosen to learn to co-exist while we add to our resources so he can have a separate home of his own, without sacrificing the quality of life for our pups. Currently, we are in an incubation phase of our relationship while we've been juggling work, school and living arrangements, and are preparing to get out and meet people and open ourselves to new experiences.
