Harmonic Convergence: 2012

It's an attitude. It's all in how we perceive change. If we perceive change with fear, we will resist it, like the first blacksmith. We recall the axiom: What one resists will persist. If we welcome change as part of a divine plan (however you choose to define that), then we will adapt, grow, evolve, and even flourish. The end of the Mayan Calendar is not predicting a physical end of the world – just like a physical end of the world is not described in the Book of Revelations in the Bible. But, according to the Mayans, this last Cycle, the Universal Underworld, does mark an end of the world as we know it – as we have come to understand how things work. This is similar to the Book of Revelations that describes an end to the world as the writer perceived it to be at the beginning of the Second Century. John of Patmos wrote Revelations in visionary "code," since to be caught with recognized Christian literature was a punishable offense in his time. In a sequence of dream-like visions, he perceives the defeat of evil empires and the establishment of a reign of peace, ruled by God, where we are freed from pain and suffering. As these shifts in consciousness or shifts in perceived reality occur, there will be persons – those in power, those invested in keeping the things the way they have been, those immersed in religious systems that assuage people's fears – who will "fight" to prevent change. So, there will be conflict, as is always the case with change. Could the conflict become so severe nuclear weapons could be unleashed and the earth would become uninhabitable? It certainly is possible. Is it probable? I don't think so. We're moving from a level of collective consciousness: 1) Where others are viewed as competitors, 2) Where we see ourselves as survivors scrambling to get our share of what we perceive to be limited (or lack of) resources, and 3) Where we perceive ourselves working, struggling and fighting within all the elements of a dualistic view of the world where we see everything in terms of right/wrong, good/evil, plenty/scarcity, judging/comparing (from our us/them point of view, of course) and have created a world filled with fear, guilt, shame and resentment. We are moving to an Age of Peace and Harmony, summarized in the ancient Mayan greeting In Lak'ech or "I am another you." Other spiritual movements have similar traditions. Egyptian and Vedic traditions describe the transformation of consciousness. The Incans, the Hopi, and the Keys of Enoch discussed the return of the Children of Light and the rise in spirituality and decline in religion. During the last fifty years, Share International has been predicting the emergence of Maitrayea, the world teacher for the new age, and the remainder of a hierarchical of spiritual masters, including the Christ, the fifth Buddha, the Imam Mahdi, and the Messiah. There have been recent writings, such as Lee Carroll's Indigo Children, that describe a higher form of consciousness and awareness that is emerging today – an emergence that is visible as an indigo-colored aura surrounding these gifted children, many of whom are misunderstood today. Astrologers have been predicting our movement from the Age of Pisces, marked by 5,000 years of idealism and patriarchy, to the multi-centuries lifespan of the Age of Aquarius. This new age will be noted by the resurgence of the power of "the total group" in the raising of consciousness. The Age of Aquarius also will bring back the divine Feminine to create a balance in "unity" consciousness – a healing of the energies between the masculine and the feminine. Just think what is about to happen: Peace; Harmony; Sharing; Cooperation; Caring for Mother Earth; A Truly Global Sense of Community; The Spirituality of Love (or an Honest Spirituality) Replacing Fear-Based Religiosity. Enlightenment and the Body of Light

Enlightenment is awakening to the presence of God as the One-in-all and All-in-one and then expressing that nondual realization in every aspect of your existence. Simply put, enlightenment is God-realization, i.e., making God real in the totality of your being. Enlightenment, therefore, is a developmental process, not a one-time event. It is the highest aspect of our human potential for self-directed growth in body, mind, and spirit. That human potential can change the human condition. Enlightenment is not purely psychological. In the course of higher human development, physical changes also occur, most dramatically in the later phases of the enlightenment process. In the final phase, according to various sacred traditions, the body is alchemically changed into light. Enlightenment becomes literally so, through the transubstantiation of flesh, blood, and bone into an immortal body of light. Through a combination of personal effort and divine grace, a person attains a deathless condition through the alchemical transmutation of his or her ordinary fleshly body. This transubstantiated body is called various names in the traditions, such as light body, solar body, diamond body, or resurrection body. I'll expand on that below. If involution is the materialization of Spirit and evolution is the spiritualization of matter, then the end of evolution—final enlightenment—is the complete return of matter to Spirit as humans attain full expression of their inherent divinity and become Godmen and Godwomen. It is the conquest of death. It is the return to the condition of "that which never dies and that which was never born." From Morality to Mysticism Morality, or the moral dimension of life, is the foundation for the process of higher human development to enlightenment. However, the process only begins there. As a person practices spiritual disciplines—prayer, meditation, or esoteric psychotechnologies—to deepen his or her relationship with God, the person ascends in consciousness to higher and higher planes of existence. Mystical experience and arcane metaphysics come to the forefront of the person's consciousness, and the light of God shines ever more brightly through every aspect of the person's life. Ultimately, the quest for enlightenment leads one to actually becoming light—attaining the body of light and becoming a being of light. Morality and virtue are then understood to be the human reflection of divine attributes, and the practice of mysticism is understood as a process of becoming, quite literally, more and more Godlike. The important thing in the process is, as the Bhagavad Gita puts it, to "fix your heart on God, " submit your will to the Divine Will, and then invoke the Holy Spirit, the Shekinah Glory, the Goddess Kundalini, etcetera, as the entry point for your spiritual practice. Support that with moral behavior, cultivation of the body and mind, works of social goodness and civic responsibility. In other words, live a life of integral practice, so that your entire being—body, mind, and spirit—is oriented to the attainment of enlightenment. God will take care of the rest. Through spiritual refinement, the psychophysical dross of your humanity is removed. Then you can "cast off " the flesh body through the death process. You put on the "seamless robe of light. " You no longer cast a shadow because you do not have a Shadow. Sacred Traditions for Higher Human Development If there is an inner unity or transcendent common core to world religions and sacred traditions, we should expect that the human potential for transubstantiation would be understood by all of them. Indeed, that is just what we find. Some of the names given to the body of light are as follows: In the Judeo-Christian tradition, it is called "the resurrection body " and "the glorified body." The prophet Isaiah said, "The dead shall live, their bodies shall rise" (Isa. 26:19). St. Paul called it "the celestial body" or "spiritual body " (soma pneumatikon) (I Corinthians 15:40). In Sufism it is called "the most sacred body " (wujud al-aqdas) and "supracelestial body " (jism asli haqiqi). In Taoism, it is called "the diamond body," and those who have attained it are called "the immortals" and "the cloudwalkers." In Tibetan Buddhism it is called "the light body." In Tantrism and some schools of yoga, it is called "the vajra body," "the adamantine body," and "the divine body." In Kriya yoga it is called "the body of bliss." In Vedanta it is called "the superconductive body." In Gnosticism and Neoplatonism, it is called "the radiant body." In the alchemical tradition, the Emerald Tablet calls it "the Glory of the Whole Universe" and "the golden body." The alchemist Paracelsus called it "the astral body." In the Hermetic Corpus, it is called "the immortal body " (soma athanaton). In some mystery schools, it is called "the solar body." In Rosicrucianism, it is called "the diamond body of the temple of God." In ancient Egypt it was called "the luminous body or being" (akh). In Old Persia it was called "the indwelling divine potential" (fravashi or fravarti). In the Mithraic liturgy it was called "the perfect body " (soma teilion). In the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo, it is called "the divine body," composed of supramental substance. In the philosophy of Teilhard de Chardin, it is called "the ultrahuman." There probably are other traditions that have analogous terms, and I would be glad to be informed of them. As I see it, these are different terms for the same ultimate stage of human evolution. (I feel quite tentative about Teilhard de Chardin because he is not specific in his writings about the somatic changes which lead to the evolved human. I have excluded Nietzsche's ubermensch altogether for that and other reasons.) The traditions speak of the process in different ways. Is the immortal body created or released, attained or manifested? Is it preexistent within the individual and the gross matter of the body simply "burned " away? Or is the gross matter of the body altered through a process not yet recognized by physical science, which changes the atoms of flesh into something unnamed on the Periodic Table of Elements? Is there more than one route to the final, perfected form of the human body-mind? Is it necessary to actually die biologically, or is there an alternate path to the light body that bypasses physical death? These are provocative questions which remain to be explored. However this state is achieved, the perfected individual is then capable of operating within ordinary space-time through that altered vehicle of consciousness which is immortal. That vehicle of consciousness is no longer carbon-based as is biological flesh. Rather, it is composed of a finer, more ethereal form of energy-substance unknown to conventional physics, but long known to metaphysics and higher mysticism. That condition is, for the individual, the most exalted stage of higher human development; for humanity in general, it is the final stage of evolution.

Reality turned inside out. Pixels or reality? Left and right hemispheres inverted and turned upside down. Thought processes interfering with perceptions. The show passes by. Memory remembers but forgets. Which dimension am I tuned to? Vibrations, resonance, reverberations merging and transforming into illusions of reality. Questions. Imagined answers. Physical substantiations vs. mental input. If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there, does it make a noise when it hits the ground? Like attracts like. Do I create my reality depending on my level of perception and comprehension? Does my programmed mental constructs determine what I see? Am I living in a false world? The Matrix? The Truman Show? Who is orchestrating my reality? Am I manifesting it according to my random thoughts? Thoughts have energy? Love travels faster than the speed of life? Auras are generated, merging and clashing as the case may be. The chain-reaction of love and hate crystalizes into incompleteness, shattering our hopes and dreams. The path to transcending this residue of illusion is interconnected with universal micro and macro resonance of higher frequencies of beauty and love. Reflections and refractions of inner harmony transmitted through the choas of troubled minds focused exclusively on ego result in unresolved contradictions. Religions, psychology, science... hinting at the way out only to implode upon itself in confusion and deceit. Habits and patterns of thought creating continuity of habits and patterns of thought throughout the generations of entrapment. Ignorance acting like an inescapable gravity pulling me down... Drowning in my self-pity -- monsters and demons of mediocrity fed by enablers of good intentions. Who will wake up this beast? Shake it and shatter it into submission -- releasing its divine self? I can only imagine.

Soul Transformations

I just returned from a cross country road trip in which I had a "religious" experience. I had taken a back road off the Interstate and unexpectedly ended up in what appeared to be a forgotten National Forest Park. I drove for miles and miles without seeing anyone. I stopped at a roadside lookout point to have a look at the incredible mountainous beauty. The first thing I noticed is the silence. But then the small sounds came into focus... insects, the creek far below in the canyon, the wind high up in the hillside pine trees... Then I noticed the warmth of the sun and the timelessness of the landscape. Signs had been put up here and there along the roadside indicating the age of the exposed mountain strata. Two billion years, 200 million years, etc. The whole experience brought me into a consciousness of God. It was as if just me and God existed. Seemingly being cut off from rest of the world, I could imagine a world where nobody else existed. It was an eerie feeling, but the next thing I imagined in this silent, suspended state of existence was that my heart was the doorway to my soul and that my soul was directly connected to God -- and that God can only experience this physical world through my five senses. The realization was that I was a vital part of God's creation. It was a completely unexpected experience... one of many such soul transforming experiences of the trip. (More later.)

They have been with me since that time and have been delivering to me information about our world and how we, with love and unification, can pour our loving intention of peace and healing into this earth. They want to set us on the path for a healthy planet, viable and working now, and for the generations that follow. They also want to direct us to the way to enlightenment and union with the Divine. The light beings use the term "fire the grid" when they speak of the energizing of humanity with divine power, on July 17, 2007. They say firing the grid will accomplish two things. First, it will pulse healing energy into the center of the earth and regenerate the core, or the heart of the planet. Just as we poured our energy into my dying son, we will individually give the gift of our true intention, the gift of our individuality and the gift of our healing energy. As they explained, my son’s energy field was badly deteriorated, as is the Earths. We must pour some of our living energy into the Earth, and the accumulation of our combined energy will regenerate the Earth. They told me humans are like little lightening rods, channelling God's energy to the planet. Because we have separated ourselves from our complete connection to The Source, by not having a fully functioning human grid, God's energy has not been able to easily flow into the Earth. If we choose to come together to rebuild our grid, then the natural flow of energy between us and God, God and the Earth, and from person to person, will be restored. Do you see what a wonderful gift you will give? This energy will live on eternally with the earth and its inhabitants; the splendour of the creator’s intention for us realised in the creation of this new energy field for our planet. How do we do this you ask? The time has been set for July 17, 2007 at 11:11 Greenwich Mean Time. I have been given no indication about why this date and time have been chosen, but this date has been told to me over and over again. I have been asked to bring together as many humans as possible, throughout the world from every corner of the globe, to simply sit and pray or meditate for one hour during that time.
