I don' know if president-elect Obama is really as amazing as he sounds, or if he just has a great speech writer, but DAMN.
To hear the president of the US talk about investing in alternative energy and transparency in spending and accounting is just knocking my socks off. I know there is a long way to go in this country, but I do feel a sense of hope in this moment that perhaps the same values I uphold might just make it to the forefront of peoples minds.... maybe because of a little pain, but not because of the great suffering that is possible if we continue on in the way we have been.
