about me
I am really getting into the philosophies of Derrick Jensen. He is able to provide the connections between the "war against nature" and the viloence in our own society. Tom Zarzen ,Jerrid Diamond; Drop whatever traditional and "respected" delusion you are operating under, the rules have been changed quite drastically. Bhuddism, Christianity, Taoism, it is all just biocentric bullshit to me. It is really too late for a new paradigm but we'll try it anyway.

According to Suzanne Leclerc-Madlala, an anthropology lecturer at the University of Durban Westville, as the deadly virus tightens its stranglehold on South Africa, the myth that sex with a virgin will cure AIDS is become standard received wisdom. This could certainly account for the horrific rape statistics that emerge from that troubled land. Justice officials and AIDS workers say that in KwaZuluNatal alone at least five rapes cases involving girls under eight are being dealt with daily in ...

. . . IN WHICH CRASS VOLUNTARILY BLOW THEIR OWN (Re-printed in it's entirety from Best Before). When, in 1976, punk first spewed itself across the nation's headlines with the message 'do it yourself', we, who in various ways and for many years had been doing just that, naively believed that Messrs. Rotten, Strummer etc. etc. meant it. At last we weren't alone. The idea of becoming a band had never seriously occurred to us, it simply happened. Basically anyone was free to join ... read more

I like to look at the flux in culture. Small almost imperceptible changes are happening that almost change the picture for the future.

Mabry Mill reported almost one quarter fewer tourists this past year, With the high cost of gas, no one is as hip to drive in the Parkway. Arts are non-essential goods and services, basically luxury items, with the economy in recession (or "stagnation" as Bush believes). The Artisans will feel it first, less casual tourists"stopping in", and people keepi... read more The christmas tree, along with "Santa Claus", predate Christianity by several thousand years in Europe. But just like every other holiday, it had to be given a "Christian" meaning to explain it. The church required the erasal of any vestiges of the former Pagan culture in order to perpetuate it's Jewish cult. The word PAGANI itself reffered to "the outlying districts of the Roman empire" not really heretics as much as rednecks who had not yet embraced the new URBAN religion of Jesu. or Yahwe... read more
