Why is it that we get to leave work early when weather is awful but when it's exceptionally wonderful, we have to stay inside and miss it?
I really believe we should have days off for beautiful weather! :)

I don't remember ever having this much time off in one shot since maybe my trip to Ireland nearly 5 years ago... I'm very excited about spending this time off during the holidays worry-free and with my sweetheart:)

I just brewed up my first batch of mead. I've been meaning to do this for quite a while but other things always seemed to take precedence so finally just made myself do it. I decided to stick with a very simple and basic recipe since it's just my first batch. I should end up with just a little over a gallon of mead when it's done.
