After a dear friend posted one of his pictures, I replied with the comment of "Burner version of Nanook Of The North".
I've since started to think about the real movie documentary of Nanook of the North.

Gas man finally showed up at 7:30 this evening. . . yes he was cute, but I wanted heat more than anything else.
I am so happy. I am giddy with joy. I am with heat to warm my body and soul. I no longer will wake with a frozen nose sticking out from the bundles that bound my head and face. I have fire to finally cook wonderful meals for myself and others.
I'm tearing off layers of sweats and starting to run around nekked in my newfound heated apartment - YAY!!!!!

Just heard on news radio that tonight's predicted temperature will be below freezing (32 degrees) at 31 degrees in the lower valley of Los Angeles. So, not only do I have no heat, but should I anticipate to wake up to snow on the ground and have to scrape frost off the windshield of my car? I sure hope so!!!! This has been a wonderful and exciting Winter for me and I just delight in all it brings forth. Call me crazy. Call me weird. Call me a geek. Just call me!
