I PASSED!!!!

I am officially Level 1 certified in the Suhaila Salimpour Format!!!!

My two dance goals for this year were to perform more and to start in the SS School of Dance, and I have been successful in both!!
Special thanks and appreciation to Suhaila! Love and thanks also to Marisa and Audra - without whom I may not have had the guts to even take the test - and all the other lovelies that shared the workshop and testing experiences with us!!!! I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

WE'RE MOVING!!!

Finally.....

we sign the lease on Tuesday, and
as of September,
I will be an official resident of Cincinnati.

Our house is in the Western Hills area...
only half an hour from our hometown and families...
but still inside the loop!
Just a windy ride through the trees off the Rybolt exit...
we'll be on Devils Backbone.

I'm so excited!
We've been looking since last May, and this is defintely one of the more expensive homes we looked at, but
it's really nice. I think we will be very happy.
My husband will not have to drive so far to work and will be able to make it home for dinner more.
I hope to be able to dance more!!!
I am down to class just one night a week
(Tuesday with Anaya Gypsy - yip!)
so I have been trying to do practice at home everyday.
I will have a nice little dance studio in the downstairs once I get the mirrors up!!

I'll have everyone over to get down once we're established as long as someone brings the Neena and Veena dvd!!

manmanmanman

I got to see Manman perform twice last weekend!! Once at the Lime Spider in Akron, OH, and once at the Wicker Park Summer Fest in Chicago, IL!! My husband and I had an amazing weekend, and we got to see Bella Fuegas perrform live at a party of theirs in Chicago! Nat took some video at the manman shows, but the sound is very distorted. It was beautiful though!! Manman puts on one of the greatest shows ever!!

Yesterday was my birthday. My wonderful, gorgeous, amazing, supportive, awesome, amazing husband has paid for my registration to Suhaila Salimpour's 07 intensive in Toronto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a goal of mine to start into the certification program this year, and he's just the greatest, sweetest, most perfect man for me (kisskiss on natty's cheek).
