So, I slipped on my flip-flops and headed out across Hope, out into the walk-in camping area. Before was only playa and a few scattered tents.
I told myself, "Close your eyes and take 100 steps without a peak. This will test your courage."
You would be surprised how nerve-wracking this exercise can be....

I have waited 2 weeks to begin to reflect upon the twist and turn of this year's burn.
