I've been engaged with power-dynamics for about 15 years. I had always been involved in the kinky community of whatever city I lived in, until I finished graduate school a few years ago and devoted my time to my career. I looked up from my work the other day and realized this important part of my life had faded a bit into the background. Now I'm taking steps to re-assert it. I am your typical disaffected, smart-assed San Franciscan. Underneath my salty exterior, I'm actually very nice and sweet: a little naive even.

In the past month or so, I've enjoyed exploring the different people and communities on tribe. It's given me an insight to a lot of things going on around me and in my community. I've learned a lot and made some new friends. I thought I would have met more people or gone to more events by now, but that it my own doing (or lack thereof). Tonight I spent the latter part of the evening creating my tribe.com profile. It's not something I had anticipated, but looks like fun. What the heck? This could be fun!
