In my amazing life I am finally able to give one of my long term hopes and dreams a shot. I have always thought raising Honey bees would be a great way to catch a buzz . Bees are such amazing creatures, they make me feel lazy, and they are the ones buzzin' all the time. I am looking forward to learning from them anything they may wish to share. Also its pretty cool to help both the world bee population and pollination at home. We are starting another big garden this year and there are plenty of flowering cherries and apples to get them going.
Yesterday I just stood against a nearby tree and observed their activities about two hours after releasing the queen. In and out of their little entrance, I cant tell one from another. maybe naming each one is a little out of reach.:-) Now I cannot open the hive for about two weeks, Bummer, to see how they are doing. Last note , so far theres been no aggressive activity , even when I'm in there messin' with the queen. Must beee they like me, or, Maybe we some how buzz at the same frequency.

Oregon Winter Snow Trip

Wow Havent blogged in a while. Myself along with about 30 friends had a killet ski/snowboard/snow play last month. I learned how to snowboard, Cant believe it took so long to get the nerve to try it. Amazing masochistic fun. I got so beat up it took till now to not be sore but what fun. Hoodoo proved a great spot for this years gathering as it is small enough we all kept finding each other all day. Also we took a day trip on cross country skis to a shelter out in the woods. Its so great to be able to enjoy Oregon's splendor in winter, The woods so peaceful and crisp. Warm hearted friends to share it with. I an truly blessed. Thanks everyone that came and partied with us this year.

Google the phrase "(Your name) looks like" and find the best one from the first page of results. Don't forget to put it in quotes, otherwise it won't work. Add yours to the bottom of the list and repost this.

1. "Jason looks like total crap." -- thanks google, thanks.
2. "PJ looks like he'd be down to whoop some ass anytime"-- i think that google is scared of me.
3. "Katie looks like recycled cat food" Ouch
4. "Michael looks like he's playing naked" (OMG do they like have a camera inside the screen or what!!!!!! Who knew??)
5. "Harley looks like a hot bitch" - yeay for me!! :D

8. "Zak looks like a migrant worker picking grapes" HA!
9. "Aaron looks like he's about eleven and there is nothing cute or sexy about the prepubescent chest of a young boy"
10. "Judd looks like he's really mean to dogs."
11. "Jen looks like she's gonna stab you with that fondue stick."
12. "Reed looks like the face of EVIL"
13. "Marcy looks like a Japanese Translator"
14. "Tim looks like any old white kid who can't jump."

16. "Evan looks like Wankus on steroids."
17. "Elise looks like the kind of toy no one wants to share." (yay for the lotus "Elise")
18. "Sue looks like one of those McDonalds Happy Meal toys they promote whenever a movie comes out."

20.From the outside, the Peacock looks like another Eastside dive with bars on the windows. But inside, it looks like a glittering version of a hotel bar in a Raymond Chandler novel.

What an amazing gathering this years didj fest was. The sonic massage always blows me away and it did again this year. So much love and healing energy all packed into a great weekend with beautiful people. The Blessing of experiencing and learning from the Aboriginal guests was and will remain unmatched until further notice. How lucky we all were and are, to be able to feel this culture and intercontinental connection. Thanks Chad and thanks every one else for just being you so that I may be me.

I have Just returned from a trip down south and among other things , was able to spend a whole day exploring Joshua Tree.
The park is located about 2-1/2 hrs east of LA in the high desert. Lucky for me it is early in the year and it had just rained, so a lot of desert flowers were in full bloom. I have inlcuded some pics. from the day of just walking around in natures wonder. Definately a worthwhile side trip if you are for some reason in So. Cal.
