As I'm fond of quoting, "The reports of my demise were greatly exaggerated." (thanks again Mr. Samuel Langhorne Clemens).
Anyhow, haven't hit the old blog in a while, and lately I've been missing it, though there's still not much to report. Latest goings on include figuring out how to finance some extensive dental work (no insurance to boot), trying to get to Seattle this Thanksgiving, and saving for my nest tattoos, ostensibly planned for this coming April (shoots Pip a questioning look)...

Got my tattoo (finally) today, thanks Pip for the moral support and nursing assistance :)
Got it done over at Avalon II in San Diego, was a great experience. Big thanks to Mike Stobbe for the good work ( www.avalontattoo.com).
Here is a pic of my still rather freshly inked flesh, will probably put up a nicer pic once its all healed up and spiffy.
First tribe post here we go, this is the one I'll look back on and sigh, remembering being a noob to tribe. Here's to benchmarks, watermarks and however else you like to mark your transitions from reality to history.
