about me
I've been involved in some pretty intense healing work lately. Word from the wise: if you earnestly ask the universe for healing, make sure you're ready to receive it! I feel like I have been - barely. It's partly my fault, because of my flat refusal to devote myself in any half-hearted way to finding my calling. Nope, for me, it's either all-in, or fold.

Feeling much better
(blog entry)
I went to see the healer and she gave me some herbs to try. I've been doing a lot to take care of myself lately and that's been transformative. It's good to know I'm worth it.
I'm also finding that most intoxicants aren't doing much for me an...

It's been a full nine months since my last posting. I've got a good excuse -- honest. It's called law school, and as of yesterday it is OVER.
My time at HLS was the most challenging 3 1/2 years of my life. Hardly a day went by that one of my...

I'm sure most of you know by now that this fall, I will be joining BioTour on our quest to make climate change THE most important issue of this year's elections. We want to reach as many people as possible, and we won't be able to do it without a lot of financial support!
That said, knowing as I do how much all of y'all love to party, it would be atrocious for me to leave Massachusetts without first th...

I'm also finding that most intoxicants aren't doing much for me anymore. I feel much better - all day - when I take care of my health by abstaining from that stuff, eating well, and staying active.
Would write more, but it's so beautiful out!

My time at HLS was the most challenging 3 1/2 years of my life. Hardly a day went by that one of my core beliefs wasn't tested. Over time, they all either strengthened or dropped out of my life. My soul now feels leaner than ever. The whole time I was in law school I was afraid of being out: that once I finished I would be overwhelmed by the in...

The Big Banged many many years ago. It was a long time before any of the chaos began to settle into recognizable forms; but eventually it did. The blast of energy became matter; this matter formed dust; this dust began to settle into clumps that became stars, moons, and planets. These celestial structures raged for eons, and were harsh inhospitable places. Some still are. But others (our Earth is one) did something quite astonishing. It's noxious atmosphere and volcanic surface reached ...

KB is such a great friend!! He is warm, kind and truly one of my best friends. He can be a delightful puppy dog, a soulful companion or even a legal advisor and all in 5 minutes! His mercurial nature suits him well and he has not lost his high aspirations or ideals (and I don't think he ever will!) It is people like KB that give me hope for the future.

k.b., well he pretty much rocks. no, he *actually* rocks. his nature is amazing, he is a total gemini but somehow quite tolerable to my steady scorpio nature. harvard law school while studying zen? "puh-leeeease" says k.b someday he will be my lawyer, i'm telling you. i'll accept no other. he's one of the more unique finds of this day and age. he can also :::intelligently::: talk up a storm. oh, how swell it is to find you, brother. ***high fives***
