I have been going to the same hairdresser for over 20 years now. I have to travel 2 hours each way upstate to see her. But she's absolutely fabulous and absolutely worth it. For sh*ts and giggles, I walked into the hair salon across the street from my apartment to ask how much they charge. My thought was, "local hair salon, can't cost that much more... maybe even the same." Maybe I'll save a little so I don't have to pay for a tank of gas to get upstate.

Summer is such a double-edged sword. Everyone has childhood memories of being "off" for the summer - yay, vacation! No more school 'till September! No worries other than who am I going to see today...... where can I ride my bike to now.... what friends are home? Summer was the best thing ever when you were a kid.
