This was my first independent solo...I performed a dance to the tune Timber and Wood by Xavier Rudd...it was complete improv...and I loved it!!! Oh...this was at Central NC Pagan Pride Day...

about me
I'm a 41 yr old, pagan, belly dancer, hooper, Tarot reader and generally, a hippie. I practice ATS and Tribal Fusion styles of belly dance. I'm engaged and working on moving to Oz to marry my sweet little Aussie, as soon as possible.
My pagan practices generally are elemental and non-trad specific, altho I do tend to lean more towards Celtic traditions. I've been a practicing pagan now, for...a long time...don't really know how long. I dance more than I hoop, but I still enjoy the hooping, when I can...low ceilings kind of get in the way. Have I said I love to dance? Cuz I do...the only thing that makes me happier is my lil hippie hubby-to-be...and he loves my dancing, just as much as do I. I feel so blessed in my life...I've found my bliss in dance and my soul mate in a land that I've always felt drawn to. And...I've got a job reading Tarot waiting for me when I get back to Oz. New hubby...new home...new job...new life!!! Ah, life is such an adventure!!!

I will, once again, be performing at CNC Pagan Pride Day on September 20th. I'd love to have some more dancers come out and do some improv with me during the drum circle. It's alot more fun when you have a group.

I received this in an email this morning, from a friend of mine. I had been really trying to avoid the thought of having to deal with voting, partly because I had thought I wouldn't still be here, by now. I was relieved that I would not have to go thru choosing a lesser of two evils, once again, but this has changed my mind.
