I have to agree on the fire sound. Soothing to say the least. Those moves you were doing at the end were unique(albeit so a couple nose hairs burned)! Keep it up and keep your groove. You always look so confident and comfortable in the hoop.

I too videotape a lot of my hooping. I like to do it so I can see what my moves look like. I believe it helps me grow. It can be intimidating to see so many videos of flawless performances. This last time I decided to include a very flawed practic...

Its been a while since my first post, and I'm coming on with a new energy. I had quite the rough one last week with a series of unfortunate happenings, flat tire and a chemical burn to the eye and face (no damage sustained). I then found out I need glasses :(

Whew, my first blog entry here goes. I've just come upon my first year anniversary of hooping and have learned so much. In the last several months, however, I hit a hooping rut. I just didn't see hooping as a priority anymore. This weekend I went to the Big Summer Classic festival in the ozarks of Missouri (actually quite near my hometown). I cannot even begin to describe the feeling I got from hooping to live music. I have always hooped in short spurts at home, but I really got into a groove...
