about me
Recently begun a degree in literature with the OU. Have danced Salsa and disco previously (quite a while ago) but have recently got into belly dancing and love it! Been looking to find out more about events/classes/info, in particular looking to get into tribal bellydance. I'm very in touch with my spirituality too and have dabbled in various things like wicca, taoism, buddism. Generally I am very interested in learning about the mind and the body and find most things of this nature fascinating.

So I have had my Ariellah DVD for about 3 weeks now and have been doing the yoga and bellydance drills about 3 times a week alongside my bellydance practise. I am now starting to see and feel real results in my dance steps. My stomach and chest feel totally different - I can feel all the seperate muscles and I can pinpoint each abdominal seperately which makes my body look more fluid. Also my obliques/diaphragm/upper back seem to have strengthened and I am defining each drill a lot better ...

It's really good so far, pictures of bra to follow. Ordered some small kuchi coins and some pre-drilled cowrie shells too so these should arrive soon and I can really get started. Can't wait to customise it and then start on the other pieces of my costume.

Will have to buy most of the materials next month due to lack of funds, but am hoping to find the right materials and embellishments today, perhaps even the right bra. More updates to follow!
