Chairperson of an arts org. in Boscombe, Dorset, UK. Always on the look out for artists, funding and support for collaborative projects. I’m in the process of setting up a not-for-profit mobile renewable energy system to promote alternative energy creatively i.e. making it fun and interesting for everyone.

In 2007 I started DJ Dirty Ali (a recycling character) with a solar powered mobile disco in a wheelbarrow. All the equipment and records come from the rubbish dump and the show is called Tip of the Pops. I have taken this to a couple of UK festivals (unpaid) and had a brilliant response. I’ve also done a few beach parties, leaving-dos and birthday parties in between. There are audio recordings and a video online already. DJ DA can also give a serious discussions on climate change and is interested in getting into to schools and talking with kids - Photo’s and Blog for all this are in my links.

I’m currently moderator of two yahoo groups BAGEL for local artists and BOSCMAIL for the wider community. Sooner or later it’s hoped all this activity will be incorporated into www.boscombe.org.uk. I was a committee member of the local area forum for 18 months where residents meet with and discuss issues with the local council. This could be anything from prostitution to planning – the trouble with this process was the local council did not seem interested at all. I was also travelling around lots last year (Cornwall, Devon, Hampshire, France and Spain) so I had to give-it-up.

Coming back from Spain I bought the basis of the renewable energy system, which I’m going to call Creative Dynamo. Hence the tribe Creative Dynamo Network on tribe.net.
