The last few days have largely been taken up with entertainment of the electronic variety. Super Mario Galaxy, for the most part, but Amy and I also took advantage of our unexpectedly-free evening to go to Matt and Elizabeth's for a little Rock Band on their Xbox. I did surprisingly okay, and now I'm thinking about that wireless Wii version of Guitar Hero III... Anyway. All of this is the result of a deep and abiding desire to avoid dealing with the new semester as long as possible - while I'm collecting Power Stars or trying to get through a Bon Jovi solo, I'm not thinking about all the crap I'm about to start going through for the next four months.

It's like the last semester left me with a weird mental trauma, and I'm conditioned to avoid it now.

Grad school kinda bites.

Also, I'm weirded out because my 12:30 Comp I class only has 13 people enrolled out of a possible 22. That's ludicrous - almost always, Eng 110 is packed full and people are trying to get in off of waiting lists. I'm nicely in the middle of the day, too, so it's neither too late (except for the people who want to get done with classes completely before lunch) or too early (for those who can't handle 8 AM classes to save their lives... like, say, me). So where the hell is everyone?
