Nothing is sure but that which is uncertain;
What's evident to all is most obscure;
Only when snared in doubts can I be sure.
Only to enigmas, never to Logic's lure,
Knowledge surrenders, and draws back her curtain.

You are the lights that hang in the Moonlight, you are the waves crashing on the shores. You are the morning light and the evening colors in the sky. You are what makes the world a brighter place, and one of my favorite people to have a 1 on 1 conversation with any time any day.
You have an undeniable lightness of being, yet are as wise as the trees and the rain. I wish that I was half of the person you make me feel I am. It is obvious you are loved and we love you like we love life itself. We love you with intense passion that knows no bounds and disregards space and time.
Shine for me Maggie, shine for me and make my world as vivid as your dreams!
....but also learn how to Sail!
Dance, when you're broken open.
Dance, if you've torn the bandage off.
Dance in the middle of the fighting.
Dance in your blood.
Dance, when you're perfectly free.

— Anthony Bourdain
Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.
-- Mark Twain

"Listen carefully to criticism of your work. Note precisely what it is about your work the critics don't like -- then cultivate it carefully. That is the part of your work that is individual and worth keeping."
Time is a river which sweeps me along, but I am the river;
it is a tiger which destroys me, but I am the tiger;
it is a fire which consumes me, but I am the fire.

In the province of the mind,what is believed to be true Is true or becomes true,within limits to be found experientially and experimentally.These limits are further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the mind there are no limits(John Lilly)

"The cosmos is a vast living body, of which we are still parts. The sun is a great heart whose tremors run through our smallest veins. The moon is a great nerve-center from which we quiver forever. Who knows the power that Saturn has over us, or Venus? But it is a vital power, rippling exquisitely through us all the time."

Don't make it serious. Life's too mysterious.
Spontaneity is the key
the best way IMHO to show your gratitude
is to feel it totally in your heart
and then allow your Spirit and Intuition to guide you
it matters not if you offer a song or a flower petal or a poem or a prayer
or if you raise your glass to give thanks
or leave offerings
what truly counts is your intention ...
follow your heart ..and listen to the suggestions of your Spirit Guide or Holy Guardian Angel.

And here's lookin' at YOU.......
What if God IS the story? What if the Divine is constantly igniting roadside flares to get our attention? What if there actually IS a Supreme Organizing Principle with a ribald and unbridled sense of humor? And what if we each have this ardent inner suitor who's writing us love letters every day that often go unopened?

The Path of the Sacred Warrior heals the Spirit. The Path of the Sacred Clown heals the Soul. And the Path of the Shaman heals the Body. The Body? Haven’t most of us been conditioned to believe that the Body is somehow inferior to the Spirit, to the Soul?
America’s Elders—the Native Americans—have always taught that the Body, our personal connection of substance and spirit, is sacred. An ancient song of the Salish Women’s Society runs:
Who cannot love her Self cannot love anybody.

In my last article, I wrote of the Native American spiritual path of the Sacred Warrior. To Native Americans, the path of the Sacred Clown is ALSO considered a spiritual calling, essential to the smooth functioning of the tribe:
In the days before the invaders came. . .we had clowns. Not clowns like you see now, with round red noses and baggy costumes. Our clowns wore all kinds of stuff. Anythin’ they felt like, they...

Align with All, with All-That-Is,
Sync with the Cosmic Sea,
Know yourself as Rainbow Light
Sun Child Moon Child we!
Love each other righteously
As I have ever taught.
Now is the time to effervesce;
Untie the ancient knot.
Run with the wind, so wild, so free.
Stand still upon Earth’s prow.
Let fire be your passion, leading you,
And water cool your brow.
Time to set sail and ride the stream
Through center Star supreme.
Time to open all our Eyes
And dance alive the dream!

Webster defines the word “dimension” as:
Measure in one direction; specifically, one of three coordinates
determining a position in space or four coordinates determining
a position in space and time. (Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary,
10th edition, 1997.)
“Coordinates” can help us know “where we are.” When we know “where we are,” we can decide “where we want to go.” We can also know our relationship with other places. For the 3rd dimension...
The mood that has us accustomed to the harshness of daily life can often be easily tamed and led into another more gentle groove. There are horses for courses and different people have their own methods: music, sport, walking, cooking, landscape, making love, dancing, caring........in these activities people move into different moods. The great challenge is to stay in that mood when you go back to everyday realities and overload. How can you do this?
It needs a clear, conscious, and purposeful decision to stay aware and connected to the spirit dimension, to see the beauty and magic. It needs a decision to be aware of all the realities, not just the one social dimension. The underlying realities do not disappear because you are not aware of them. They are always there. Your body is still made of elementals even when you are driving your car, washing up or in the office. The landscape is teeming with invisible life, dancing and sparking in the universal context. The city spirits are harmonically holding their visions of perfection. The muses are inspiring. The healing angels are overlighting and guiding. This is all there, no matter where your consciousness is focused.
It is simply a matter of choosing to remember, choosing to be aware. Do you want to remember this reality? Ask this question of yourself right now. If the answer is YES, pledge yourself this second to remember. Stretch your awareness out to all the angel realms, from single atom to cosmos, and affirm that you will remember, you will stay aware, you will stay cooperative.
What help do you need? It is so easy for us to forget and slip back into the sleep of non-awareness. Perhaps you need a daily ritual to start the day, such as lighting a candle or making offerings to the spirit of your house or town. Perhaps your kitchen, office or car needs some image or sculpture or object to remind and help you.
This, then, is the last exercise:
COMMITMENT AND HELP
Go silent in your own way, and in the silence contemplate how meaningful and beautiful and creative this world is. Then, when you are ready, look to see what action will support you in maintaining this remembrance and awareness. You can ask your guardian angel for help. You can ask all the spirits for help. And you will receive it.
(from William Bloom's book "Working with Angels, Fairies, & Nature Spirits")
Because being a true artist is its own reward. If that’s what you are, then you are always that.
True love is no game of the faint-hearted and the weak; it is born of strength and understanding.
