Hello all, so our intention for this years beltaine is that if at all possible people could show up early to help. There are few faeries actually living on the land and doing the land work. There are a few projects in mind, weed wacking the meadows so we can dance around in them without getting all those burrs and twigs caught up in our skirts and trousers, a new shitter hole built(or maybe even a new shelter for it).The parking lot shitter has gotten to full now and needs to be moved. It is not urgent but at some point if someone could help out the garden house sink.No worries or pressure though it will be fixed in time.
For a gathering at wolf creek there are a few things that are needed to start the ball rolling, those things are; Food,Money,Fluffying and cleaning up the sanctuary and its alters, check fire stations(make sure all the supplies are there and its safe are ready for emergencies), there are first aid kits in the houses, and cleaning up the shitters.
So becuase we have to raise enough money to be able to do all of this. Some of us faries have thought about having a fun(d) raiser. We are thinking of having a dance party and selling some hand made crafts at the front. Now if any of you feel called to help with any of this please email me and let me know. I will have more details on the fund raiser as i speak with more people involved. It will happen sometime before BELTAINE witch is MAY 1 ,2009. You will be able to sign up and register for beltaine at the table at the DANCE NIGHT FUND RAISER!
Now we ask you to please pre-register so we can get an idea as to how many people will be showing up. There will also be an online registeration as well and in my next blog i will update you on the process and the webpage and where you can go to to register.
At gatherings at wolf creek becuase its owned by a non-profit company called nomenus. the gatherings have to be fueled on donations and this year we are going to try a fund raiser as well.
At gatherings we usually say Bring yourself and what you can afford more if you can less if you cant no one turned away for lack of funds. This year someone came up with another similar idea of what you give at a gathering Give As You Are Able But Always Give Something.
I know sometimes its hard to have money and I am one to not always have that either, but I try to plug in somewhere where I feel called and help out. This year Im going to be one of the kitchen queens and I allready have volunteers to help out and if you feel called you can help too. Helping keep dishes in line is good too there are alot of people to feed and not alot of dishes to go around. And plus you get to eat first when you do the dishes.lol :) anywho.
There are some people putting together the beltaine call I am one of those people as well so when it is written up I will post it and some other poeple will probably post it as well. We will send it out through emails and it will be mailed out the 1st March.

I started of a little rocky. My move to Penn. was a big jump for me. It took alot of meditation and thought to make my decision. And I am glad I did. I have gotten a great job and am enjoying my stay on the east coast. It is beautiful. I hope to be returning back to oregon in the summer. I cant wait to see everyone and tell them all about my trip.
