I am a Virginian (born and bred) and because there was no berth available in the Army of Northern Virginia, I had to run away to the circus (Yankee Army.) I trained as a combat engineer (I guess I like to blow things up.) I did three tours in Germany, served at Fts. Campbell, Leonard Wood (DI), Bragg (Jumpmaster, DZSTL,etc,) and then retired at Lewis in 97.
