My Daddy Jake is a one of a kind and simply way awesome man.I stayed a weekend with him and he is just so fun to be around. He is caring and is so very strong for all that has lived through....He does not mind openeing his door and home up to a wild one like me...He is a damn good cook too. I've never met Jake in person, either, but my sense of him is of a very warm and generous person. Friendly as "all get out" and someone who genuinely cares for people, whether you've just corresponded with him on Tribe, or...whether you've known him for years and years. I get good vibes from him. So do lots of others on Tribe. I've gotten responses from other Tribesters with comments like "...anybody who is a friend of Jake's is a friend of mine" and things like that. So, I'm a pretty lucky guy to know this man. In my world where friends are most cherished and most strongly desired, he's a stand out - even though, as I mentioned before, we've never even met! I dunno.....I just get this feeling, and generally, my feelings are not wrong.

i never met jake, just "know " him from the politics tribe.
in my view he seems a person that enjoys life to its fullest , that he could care less what others think about him.....and this is the healthiest way to go. shit......it sounds like a love letter.......AND I AM NOT EVEN GAY. i would be honored to meet jake one day......have some good discussion, smokes and booze.

After a Disaster in Tacoma that shall remain in my Past,I have moved on with my life. So I asked for an Electric..and they got me a cheap (plastic)Harmony Acoustic...Ewww YUK! I guess we gotta start 'somewhere'! That year I asked again...and for Christmas I got a cheap Silvertone(by Sears!) 1994-2006 Today was a very sad day for Me and Ron After 8 months of pain medications and joint enhancing drugs our beautiful 13 year old German Shepherd Madeira whom we called Maddie had to be put to sleep. She was a feisty old Girl but her hips just went out on her,and she was no longer able to walk. Maddie has a storied life. This past weekend I had the pleasure to join my Best Buddy Michael Glazier In his Hometown of Richmond British Columbia Canada!
