My Daddy Jake is a one of a kind and simply way awesome man.I stayed a weekend with him and he is just so fun to be around. He is caring and is so very strong for all that has lived through....He does not mind openeing his door and home up to a wild one like me...He is a damn good cook too. Daddy to the two bestest pups ever, Humper and Buddy. To know him is to be blessed....

We took our Dog Buddy with us and spent the day looking at the Park's many Natural Wonders. We saw Elk and a herd of Bison walked across the road directly in front of our car! The Hot Springs were beautiful as was Old Faithful. Buddy declined a dip in the Yellowstone River,I guess it was too much like Icewater!..but he had fun running around and "talking to" the Bison... read more 
This past Friday (6-27-08) Don and I hosted our first Family BBQ and Backyard Pool Party at our Home with two of his Sons(Andy & Pete) their Wives and five combined Kids! Then our next-door Neighbors Rick and Carissa and their two Kids came over,and then the two kids from our neighbors across the street came over! News travels fast when you have a Big Pool in your Backyard!

A new Above Ground Swimming Pool! I had been talking about getting a Swimming Pool since March when I moved to Pocatello and discovered it's wonderful 4 season climate! Today was a pivotal point for both Don and I. We purchased a Home together! Two guys on retirement,by combining our incomes we were able to buy a 1,850 sq ft 1955 Brick Bungalow here in the little Mountain Town of Pocatello Idaho on a quiet street just eight blocks from the Home we were renting.This Home is located in a nice rural/suburban setting with beautiful views of the surrounding Sawtooth Mountain Range from it's windows!
