The website is up with a working email (a little more professional than having a gmail address) and I got back my first batch of business cards. Huzzah. Not too keen on the way they came out, got all desaturated, but the next batch will be better. And our first 5 pages are inked and ready to show to publishers. I arranged my first field trip for a class. We went to the Boonville Anderson Brewery for a location scout. My friend John manages the place, so we got access to every little nook.

I did something like this when I worked on Tony Hawk, flew out to Michigan to photograph a jeep factory. Twas very cool to incorporate that experience into this, passing on what Ive learned from working as a production artist. My parents decided to invest in a little Bed n Breakfast called the Snowberry Inn. Its ridiculously cute, and 20 min from both Snowbasin and Powder Mountain (I cant help but think of Al Pacino when I hear that name). Turns out, I really like riding these 2 mountains. I had big plans for 2008, and in all, I think I had a pretty good run. I just got back from Tahoe with my family, and had a great time with my younger cousins. Theres been a lot of death in the family, lost an Aunt, Uncle, and a Grandmother. So being there to support felt really good. I totally hit it off with my 16 yr old cousin Matt.
