We arrived at Common Ground in Algiers the day before yesterday around 3:00 AM... got a few hours of sleep out in tents in the neighbor's back-yard then got up and the crew spent the next two days loading and unloading trucks full o' food n' supplies that were delivered out to the surrounding towns on this side o' the river... I helped out routing power from the breaker box, figuring out what local radio frequencies we should scan in order to stay on top of what's goin' down in the surroundin...

after driving all night and arriving at the "Displaced Persons" camp in Gonzales around dawn.
