So on friday I was telling my boyfriend that I was going to the horse races that evening, and he told me to bet on 4,2, and 7 in the 4th race. He told me that someone told someone else to do the same thing and they won, but this happened 40 years ago in Australia. So, being that my boyfriend lives 7,000 miles away and knows nothing about horseracing, and that was a crazy coincidence, I gave it little thought.
That eve, I had the chance to bet on the 4th race, only that one, cuz the timing was perfect. So, I picked 4, and 2, for the heck of it, leaving 7 out of it.
The horses were off, none of the three were in the lead. Then something happened. Half--way through the race, one by one, those three ended up coming ahead, winning, in the exact order of 2, then 7, then 4! What kind of wierd coincidence is that? Conclusion? I hate my boyfriend. I hate him for being right on an entire fluke. And I hate myself for not including 7 on the bet. Damn!
