I presently live in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn after being born and raised in the section of Brooklyn, Greenpoint/Williamsburgh. I presently am between jobs, which I hope isn't for too much longer. I really don't have many hobbies but my interests include various topics ranging from crossword puzzles, reading, sleeping and whatever else should interest me at that moment. I like politics...a lot. In the past I've volunteered for many local campaigns and volunteered for community organizations also. Recently, I have been volunteering for the campaign of a mayoral candidate here in NYC.

I've been spending most of my spare time working on the mayoral campaign here in NYC. (No, I'm not for Bloomberg!) I usually am "out in the field" three days a week, sometimes four. I'm at the campaign office on three days. (I work at a "real job" three days a week.) No rest for the weary! But I'm having fun doing it all. I still have that stupid cough!!! You think that by now it would have gone away....it's almost 2 months! I was last at the doctor yesterday and although there is no absolute answer as to why I'm like this, I am being treated as if I have asthma...and it seems to help! I may be totally off on this but I honestly feel, from what I have heard re London today, that this is not a terrorist attack. As I was listening to Good Morning America this morning, it was said by an ex-CIA agent that Al Quaida (sp?) ordinarily does not claim a terrorist attack right away...as a matter of fact, it may be an entire week before they do let any one know. I hope that everyone had a very pleasant 4th...It wasn't too hot here in NY which made for a lovely day in the yard...just b-b-q'ng away! I'm STILL hacking away but I only seem to cough when I open my mouth for something and air gets in. So, I try to keep my mouth shut most of the time...which I am sure is VERY WELCOMED by many!!! Today's heat makes up for yesterday!!

OK...I'm still hacking away but definitely feeling better these days...so much better that I will be going to a barbeque tomorrow, it'll be in my back yard...but I'm going there anyway!!! (I didn't go to the last b-b-q there because I wasn't feeling well.) Well, I want to wish everyone here at tribe.net a very happy 4th!!!
